DEMS – Sense Of An Ending (single) (Sew In Love Records)

After a successful run at SXSW in March and radio support from the likes of Rob Da Bank and Huw Stephens, the South London electronic trio DEMS are set to release their debut album Muscle Memory (artwork above) on 3 November, 2014 via Sew In Love Records.

The first taste of the record was recently unveiled in the form of Sense Of An Ending and what a gorgeously moving piece of music it is.

Only 2:56 in duration, Sense Of An Ending is a reverb-saturated, densely atmospheric track that moves the listener in a way that Port St. Willow (read our review of their Holiday album – one of our favourite records from 2013) does.

Equal parts song and mood piece, Sense Of An Ending features a clean guitar arpeggio, which sits atop of a beat-less, layered production made up of waves of icy reverb and layered and equally atmospheric vocals.

Sense Of An Ending is the perfect teaser, leaving us eager for more.

The album Muscle Memory featuring the track Sense Of An Ending will be released 3 November, 2014. Pre-order now.
